(a ) Only poultry eggs which fulfil the conditions stipulated by the competent authorities of the European Communities are eligible for entry under this subheading .

Note : According to the provisions of Article 55 (6), first subparagraph of the Act concerning the conditions of accession and the adjustments to the Treaties, the compensatory amount levied or granted by a Member State may not, with reservation to a derogation according to the second subparagraph of these provisions, exceed the total amout levied by that same Member State on imports from third countries .
