THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES, are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Wine, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 974/71 of 12 May 1971 on certain measures of conjunctural policy to be taken in agriculture following the temporary widening of the margins of Article 1 fluctuation for the currencies of certain Member States (!), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1 . Part 6 of Annex I to Regulation (EEC) No 557/76 (2), and in particular Article 6 thereof, 572/76 is replaced by Part 6 of the Annex to this Regulation. Whereas the monetary compensatory amounts intro­ duced by Regulation (EEC) No 974/71 were fixed by 2. Annex II to Regulation (EEC) No 572/76 is Commission Regulation (EEC) No 572/76 of 15 replaced by Annex II to this Regulation. March 1976 (3), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 3004/76 (4) ;

Whereas from 16 December 1976 the new activating Article 2 prices in the wine sector are applicable ; whereas this must be taken into account in fixing the monetary This Regulation shall enter into force on 16 compensatory amounts ; December 1976 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
